Jackie Battenfield Mixed Media Fine Art

The Michael Ingbar Gallery is a subsidiary of MFI Art Company Inc., a New York corporate art consulting firm with clients ranging from small businesses to major multinational corporations. Since 1977, MFI Art Company has worked with thousands of clients, mostly based in New York City.

While working on projects for clients, Michael Ingbar (the founder of MFI Art Company) saw that there was a large demand for high quality original art with an architectural New York City theme but that there was little of this type of work to be found within one central location.

In 1986, Michael decided to address this need by opening a new division of the company - The Michael Ingbar Gallery of Architectural Art. The original purpose was to use the gallery as a magnet for talented artists that specialized in New York City architectural themed imagery which MFI Art Company could then conveniently tap as a resource to sell high quality, original work to clients. The gallery became such a success that it ended up turning into a more or less standalone business, exhibiting the work of hundreds of incredible artists and photographers within its gallery space in Soho.

As more corporate clients of MFI Art Company expressed interest in abstract, non-representational art in addition to the New York City images, the gallery broadened out its focus and adjusted its name to Michael Ingbar Gallery to reflect this change.

The physical location of the Michael Ingbar Gallery is currenty closed and the gallery is primarily exhibiting online.
